My company Wing It Tackle was founded with one goal in mind- Making high-quality tackle and fishing gear easily accessible for anglers who want to spend more time fishing and less time worrying about equipment.  After years of fishing the waters where I grew up around Cape Cod, I saw how difficult it was for anglers to access reliable offshore-ready fishing tackle without investing thousands on gear.  That's why I created a service that provides professionally rigged tackle, dependable gear, and simple rental solutions tailored specifically for your needs. 

From the Water to Wing It Tackle 

I’m Jake Wing, born and raised on Cape Cod, and offshore fishing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My passion for fishing started at a young age, spending countless days on the water with my father learning the sport and developing a deep appreciation for offshore fishing. Over the years, I've traveled to some of the top offshore fishing regions in the country, including the Carolinas, Maryland, and Florida, to experience different fisheries and learn from some of the best in the industry. During these trips I've spent time around offshore sport fish boat builders and experienced crews, studying how successful boats are built, how professional crews rig their gear, and how anglers in different regions approach offshore fishing. Learning how different regions fish, rig tackle, and set up their boats has helped me with Wing It Tackle by allowing me to continue improving and refining the gear and services we offer! All of these experiences continue to shape Wing It Tackle today. My goal is to constantly learn, improve, and bring the best ideas and practices from the sport-fishing industry back to our customers—so when you rent from Wing It Tackle, you’re getting gear and setups that truly work.
